Genmini Kim
Incheon, Korea
After resigning from a shipping company, Gemini Kim pursued studies in urbanism and art practice in London, UK. Upon returning to Incheon, Korea, he embraced opportunities for community engagement and began delving into research on topics close to his heart: the Korean War, suburban life, and farming. Gemini actively participates in local activities, aiming to intertwine the lesser-known narratives of the war, encompassing not only Korea but also Japan and Vietnam. His current artistic research focuses on post-colonial industries in Asia, where countries engage in the trade of machine factories. This theme resonates with his personal experience as a suburban resident.
